After using the same Wordpress theme for the past seven years, it’s time to update and, as we all know, construction has a way of getting out of hand.
Springwater, road trip on a smoky day
I had driven past the small hamlet of Springwater years earlier, while on assignment for another project. I never had the chance to visit. The place struck me as so picturesque that I always felt like I had to go back.
Waiting
Sometimes, you just take it slow and easy. No hurry to get where you’re going. The mountain pass is shorter and faster, but the ferry is more leisurely.
Midway memories
Long before Silver City Days, our annual fair was called the Trail International Festival. In 1974, two friends and I stood atop the roof of the Crown Point Hotel to get these photos of the midway located on Bay Avenue.
