We’re still smarting from that horribly long winter — seven months, by some accounts the longest on record. So, the past few weeks of warm weather have been especially welcome.
Kinsmen Park memories
Memories of the last day of operation of Kinsmen Park. The carousel will be restored like it was new, but the little train will be gone forever. A new, fancier one will replace it. And a big Ferris wheel, too.
Summer nights at the beach
Saskatchewan has a long tradition of spending summer at the beach. Manitou Beach, with its “healing waters”, was popular resort in its heyday, as famous as Banff or Jasper, drawing huge crowds from around the world.
